---------------NEED HELP FROM MECHANIC----------------------…

Just recently i received a 1993 honda prelude VTEC for free from one of my dads friend. i am a automotive student at my school but my car needs more work than we have learned. Anyways when i got into the car i pressed down on the clutch and it did not come back up. At first i thought hell its the clutch disc but i was told that one of those had been recently replaced. So before i go taking apart everthing i would like another opionin right now i think it might be the slave cylinder's piston, but my dad whos been a mechanic for over 20 years thinks it could be something simple like a hose to the clutch fluid reservoir. PLEASE HELP!
