Is it possible to have 30 pounds of impacted feces in your colon?

I've seen numerous debates on this and am not sure what to believe. A recent doentary on the National Geographic channel about obesity said that an obese person can have 30 lbs of impacted, hard feces in their intestines. Many doctors claim this is impossible. Alternative health gurus will advocate colonic irrigation to remove all this excess feces.
