Computer Engineering, System Engineering, A+/Net+?

Computer Engineering and System Engineering means different things to different people at different companies. Either one can be anything from someone who fixes PCs to someone who writes programs for servers -- the titles are fuzzy and not clearly defined by the industry. A+ and Net+ are both definitely for people who troubleshoot computers and not for people who want to work for a microchip design company. What you want to study is Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.
